62. Ode aan de schepping. Hymn on God's creation.

Geïnspireerd door de tuin, heb ik geprobeerd de energie ervan te schilderen.
Inspired by my garden I tried to paint the energy of it.

61. Het doek met de vensters. The finished painting.

Dit is het uiteindelijke doek geworden waar ik tussentijds foto's van maakte om de kleine voorafgaande werkstukjes mee vorm te geven.
This is the endresult of the painting I made the pictures of, to drawn and write on them as you saw on the items before.

Ik ben gek op het enorme contrast. Eigenlijk moet je het bij lamplicht zien, maar hoe ik dat fotografeer?
I like the enormous contrast. In lamplight is even looks more beautiful.

'Als je het licht door het raam ziet schijnen,

stap er dan in,

of het nu buiten of binnen jezelf ligt...'

'If you can see light shining through the window,

just step into it,

wether it's out or in yourself...'

60. Even zoeken naar de sleutel. Looking for the key.

Zoals je ziet worden de sleutels ( en de sloten) steeds kleiner.
Zou daar een symboliek achter zitten???
As you can see the key is getting smaller and smaller..
What would that mean?

'Als je de sleutel niet kunt vinden

om je problemen op te lossen,

dan is het blijkbaar de bedoeling

ze te doorleven.

Dat is de sleutel...'

'If you can't find a key

to solve your problems immediately,

you have lo live them through.

That's the only key...'

59. Hoe je ook sleutelt... Whatever you try...

Materiaal: onaf doek waar ik een detail van fotografeerde en afgedrukt heb, kleurpotlood, fineliner.
Materials: unfinished canvas, key, pencils, fineliners

'Heb compassie,

hoe je ook sleutelt,

je ontkomt niet aan

licht

èn

    duister... '

'Have compassion,

however you try to unlock your problems,

there will always be

light ànd

darkness...'



58. Geen sleutel nodig... Don't need a key

Materiaal: foto van een doek in wording, sleutel, kleurpotloden en fineliner.
Mixed media: picure of unfinished painting on canvas, key, pencils, fineliner.

Een doek met stofjes, kantjes en pailletjes. De sleutel kleurt er prachtig bij.
Even een detailfoto maken en uitprinten.
Dan met kleurpotlood uitwerken. De tekst ontstaat vanzelf uit het beeld.

Canvas with all kind of stuff. The colour of the key mixing beautiful.
Just take a picture and print it out.
Than use your pencils.
The words will come.

'Om je hart te openen

heb je geen sleutel nodig,

alleen je intentie

is voldoende... '

'To open your heart,

you don't need any key,

just your intention

will do...'

57. Gewoon beginnen... Just start...

Vandaag hebben Dineke en Saskia prachtige werkstukken in het atelier gemaakt.
Today two ladies made wonderful artwork in my workshop.

Sjabloneren, schilderen, stempelen, plakken...
En het thema ontstaat als vanzelf, altijd passend bij je eigen leven.

Just going for it with all kinds of material. You always create exactly that what fits into your life.

Leuke ochtend met heel mooi resultaat.
En niet te vergeten: het was ook nog eens reuze gezellig! 
And not unimportant: we had a wonderful causy morning!

56. Sleutels. Keys

Materiaal:  foto's van Kreta met dat prachtige blauw, acrylverf, stof, kant, en fineliner.
Mixed media.

'Open je hart

voor wat er is,

wàt het ook is,

erken het...'

'Open your heart
for what is,
whatever it is,
recognize it and accept it...'

'dan laat het

zijn onverkrampte

oorsprong zien...'

it will show its
loving origin...'
